Sorry for the lack of posts last week! I was actually out of town most of the week as I flew down to Cali for a couple days for work.  It was quite an experience, but not one I can disclose here!  Let's just say there's potential.  This weekend I had a blast going outlet shopping in Washington with a group of my favourite blogger girls. I picked up quite a few goodies, which I will be posting in a haul post later if I ever get my act together!  Taking a week off the blog made me feel anxious, but it also felt oddly freeing.  I love blogging, but it can feel more like work than enjoyment when one gets too anxious over stats and comments.  Getting the numbers opens more opportunities, but getting those numbers can be a TON of work and I seem less and less inclined these days to care about my numbers as much.  I just want to be peaceful and enjoy myself rather than worry and for the most part, I've felt the most peaceful I've felt in a long while, so screw it stats! I'm blogging for myself.  I started my blog without any sponsors and I can damn well continue without obsessing over them.
