Lise Watier Eden Tropical Collection Preview

Another preview post today! This time around, it's the Lise Watier summer collection. The theme for this collection is "Eden Tropical" and features colors and packaging inspired by the exotic beauty of the tropics.

This limited edition collection consists of:

The Eden Tropical eye shadow palette ($43)
Lise Watier always does a great job packaging their palettes and this season's is no exception with its fun green and pink plant motif. The colors of this palette are very bright and too "out there" for my everyday tastes, but they would look lovely I imagine in a nice, sheer wash over the lids.

The Eden Tropical bronzing powder ($38)
Consisting of a mix of a peach blush and traditional bronzer, this palette attempts to give you that ideal sun-kissed look. Use the bronzer shade solo for contouring and a stronger glow, or mix it with the peach to add color to cheeks. This palette also features a cute leaf pattern etched into the pan that almost makes you not want to use the powder!

Blush Creme Satin ($24)
It seems like everyone is releasing cream blushes this year! This creamy blush dries to a powder finish and offers buildable color dependent on your mood. This blush comes in two colors: rose eden, a vibrant pink; and coral paradise, a versatile coral-rose.

Hydra Kiss balm  ($22)
Lip crayons are also having a moment now and Lise Watier's hydrating balms seem pretty standard at first glances, but feature a glossy packaging that give them a more luxurious feel compared to others. Available in 2 colours (rose eden and coral paradise), they quite handily match to the creme blushes, ensuring that you'll never need to worry about mismatching your lipstick to your blush.

Ombre Souffle Supreme eye shadow ($24)
The only non-limited edition product in this collection, the Ombre Souffle shadows come in four shades and have a cream-to-powder finish. They're quite sparkly and remind me a lot of the Chanel Illusion D'Ombre shadows. Hopefully these are easier to apply as I find the Chanel quite horrible to apply. Although part of the regular line, these shadows have been updated to include Lise Waiter's exclusive Labrador Tea extract, so now not only will they make your eyes sparkle, they'll keep them youthful looking as well!
