Korea's belif is quickly becoming one of my favourite skincare brands as every single item I've tried from them have been a hit and today I'm here to share my latest winner!
If you haven't heard of belif before, they're a sister brand of Korea's THEFACESHOP, which is arguably the most popular Korean skincare company to be exported to North America. You can find belif products in all THEFACESHOP stores and until recently they were at Sephora, although I can't find them online anymore!
belif is formulated on the promise of only using pure, effective ingredients using the latest scientific techniques. Previously I had tried their 2 bestsellers, The True Cream - Aqua Bomb and The True Cream - Moisturizing Bomb and loved them, so I was curious to see if anything else by the brand could be as good. Eye creams are notoriously tricky to nail, so I decided to put the Moisturizing and Firming Eye Cream to the test.

Final Verdict: Buy
The belif Moisturizing and Firming Eye Cream is a rich and creamy eye cream that can be used both day and night. It has a light, unscented scent if you know what I mean, and a thick, balm-like texture. My eye area, like the rest of my face, has been experiencing a lot of dryness and this cream literally fixed that problem in 2 days.
Wear it solo, or wear it as a priming base
Although I would love to wear this both day and night, I've been restricting myself to just using this eye cream during the day. It makes an excellent hydrating base for my concealer, ensuring that it doesn't pill, flake or crease all day. I don't even need to use that much per application - just a light layer underneath my eyes is enough to keep my eye area smooth and comfortable from morning to night.
So what's in this miracle cream?
The main ingredients of the Moisturizing and Firming Eye Cream are made up of mostly workhorse, run-of-the-mill humectants (glycerin) and emollients (butylene glycol, caprylic/capric triglyceride), but it also contains a ton of moisturizing plant extracts (portulaca oleracea extract, cupuacu butter, jojoba, macadamia nut seed oil, and meadowfoam seed oil to name a few), and natural anti-inflammatories (calendula flower extract, raspberry leaf extract).
About half of the ingredients in the Moisturizing and Firming Eye Cream come from plant extracts, which is something I love to see and really emphasizes belif's philosophy of only good things and no filler.
Finally, an eye cream worth paying for!
For such great ingredients and efficacy, I was expecting the Moisturizing and Firming Eye Cream to have a sky-high price to match, but again I am pleasantly surprised!
At $59 for a jar, this eye cream may seem pricey, but you are getting almost twice as much product for similar pricing as you would in a normal sized eye cream, which is usually only 15 ml. With the majority of eye products being all gimmick and never living up to its expectations, I'm certainly willing to shell out $59 for this cream.
Have I convinced you yet?
If you've always been skeptical about whether a separate eye cream is necessary or even effective, then I strongly suggest you try the belif Moisturizing and Firming Eye Cream. It worked wonders for me and hopefully it will for you too!
